GRO Birth, Marriage & Death Certificate Costs About to Rise
On 16th February the GRO certificate costs will be increasing significantly, from £9.25 to £11 for a certificate (an 18.9% increase), and from £6 to £7 for a PDF copy of a register entry (16.7% more).
If members have any plans to order but have held-back, now’s the time to do it.
Whilst this seems a bit steep, the last change in certificate prices was in 2010, since when prices generally have gone up by well over 20%.
Their continuation of the online PDF system is a great benefit, and response times from order are getting shorter.
