The Bebington Group was formed in 1975, eight years after the formation of the main society. We were the first group to be formed on the Wirral and were originally called the Wirral Group. Following the formation of three other groups on the Wirral we changed our name to Bebington Group in 2001 to reflect the area where we hold our meetings.
Our meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month (excluding Bank Holidays) in The Bebington Suite at Bebington Civic Centre, starting at 7.30pm. The £1.50entrance fee (£2 for visitors) includes refreshments. VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

1. At our monthly meetings we have a selection of books for loan to members. This service is free of charge.
2. We usually have a speaker at our meeting, talking on Family or Local history and associated topics.
3. We have a number of CD's available for loan. We also have magazines, books and stationery for sale.
We also run a Help Desk at Bebington Library on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10.00 to 12.00 where we can help members and visitors with their research. We can also try to help with your computer problems.
We normally have at least one outing during the year, usually a guided tour around a local place of interest.
