FHSC Seminars: Photogenealogy: Date and Identify Family History Photos by Ann Larkham

Following on from her previous very well received Seminar talks with FHSC, Ann Larkham returns to discuss dating images, something a lot of us struggle with. Dating your family history photos is an important step in the photogenealogy process and can help you identify unknown people in the photos. This talk will provide a step-by-step strategy that will help you to estimate the date a photo was taken. Important clues to look out for will be highlighted and useful resources will be discussed. Putting a name to a face and a face to a name is one of the most rewarding parts of photogenealogy.
This event is for members only and registration opens on 1st November, when the ‘Register [Individual]’ button will show on the bottom left of the Event details on the FHSC website for you to click and then process your registration, you will receive an email confirmation. Registration will close on 18th November.
The zoom links/meeting protocol will be forwarded the day before the talk. If you run into any difficulties with this, then please contact us on the dedicated seminar email address – or see the 'Seminar Talks and how to Register' section under 'Online Talks and Meetings' in the FAQ section of the website.
The Seminar series is co-ordinated by Margaret Spate, Jean Laidlaw and Margaret Roberts and ALL correspondence, queries etc should be sent to the dedicated email address -
