Win 10 Demise Oct 2025

This is the only pre-meeting question I’ve been asked!

A member asks:

My Hewlett Packard desktop computer runs using Windows 10 and support for this finishes in October 2025. Although my computer is relatively new it is unable to be upgraded to take Windows 11. My wife uses an Apple desktop and obviously there is a temptation if I have to get a new computer to move over to an Apple device also.

My question is I use Family Historian but if I change to an Apple device:-

            1) Will I have to purchase an Apple version of Family Historian?

            2) How easy will it be to move my data over between the two versions?

I’ve responded with my views, but what do meeting members feel?
