What was the life expectancy of our ancestors? What were the common causes of their deaths? Can knowing what they died from give us a clue about illnesses that we might get? Can we spot patterns that indicate inheritable diseases in our familes?

Hazel will try to answer those questions by looking at death records for the 19th and early 20th centuries.
