Bramhall Group Events
- July 2019
On 25 July 2019This year's Group visit will be to the Blackden Trust. It's principally a tour of the home of Alan Garner, author of 'The Owl Service', the 1967 fantasy novel for young adults. Being close to Jodrell Bank, the day out offers the opportunity of also visiting the nearby Radio Telescope and Arboretum. Please note that the date, Thursday 25th July, is a fortnight after what would be the usual day of the month for our meeting. More details to follow

He could never have guessed that this would be a pivotal moment, not just in his life, but ultimately in the history of the British hat industry. This evening Rupert Battersby will be talking us through the history of the family business.
