The Family History Society of Cheshire

 Very many thanks to Joan Irving, Dennis Whyte and Peter Davenport for the reception and help they gave to our Tameside Group yesterday.  I didn't catch the names of the other volunteers on the day, but thanks for the very welcome tea and biscuits.  Must say I am impressed with the centre, very light and airy and well set out, with so many books I would love to delve into more, and a lovely atmosphere for research.  One member is already planning a return trip with someone who couldn't make it yesterday and another member already had a new member of his family contact him last night.
