Macclesfield Town Maps
In conjunction with the Silk Museum, the Group has reproduced on CD-ROM the Macclesfield Town Map of 1871. At a scale of 10 feet to a mile the map gives amazing detail. Macclesfield Group - Computer Club
The Macclesfield Group's Computer Club normally meets on the first Thursday in each month (check the Events List for exceptions). We meet from 7.30pm-9.20pm, at the same venue as the Macclesfield Group meetings (above). You don't need to bring your computer and Visitors are always welcome.
Whether you are a total beginner, frustrated at things not working or just happy to help others, there is something here for you. Our programme covers a wide variety of topics to help beginners as well as those already very familiar with computers. Each meeting includes topical explanations/demonstrations.
Meeting format:
7:30 - 8:30 Talk/Demonstration
8:30 - 8:45 Refreshments
8:45 - 9:15 News Roundup eg:New websites/databases.
