The Cheshire Surnames Directory was popular with researchers untils it demise some time ago after intensive activity from hackers.
I am happy to say that it is now back on air in a much improved format at:
http://surnames.fhscheshire.org.uk
There are also links on this site (see QUICK LINKS) and on the FHSC Toolbar. The toolbar 'Tweets' facility provides access to a Twitter account linked to the new Cheshire Surnames Directory. A tweet is posted for every new entry to the directory.
The directory is run by the Chairman for all those with an interest in Cheshire not just members of FHSC.
NB: Don't try and use your FHSC username and password. You will need to register for it separately.
