Cheshire Ancestor
The Society's journal is the Cheshire Ancestor, published in March, June, September and December each year, and issued free to FHSC members. It includes
articles of genealogical interest, as well as articles relevant to Cheshire family history; also Society notices and group reports, news of forthcoming events, a section
containing Members' Interests and a special section of computer news for genealogists.
In September 2006 the Cheshire Ancestor won the FFHS Elizabeth Simpson award for the best Family History Journal in 2005.
