This summer, come and see the “Forging History: 180 years of Crewe Works” exhibition at the Crewe Heritage Centre
and immerse yourself in the sounds, smells and sights of the past!
Join us for an interactive and engaging experience each weekend and Bank Holiday between 1st July – 10th September
as we commemorate the move of the Grand Junction Railway Engineering Works to Crewe and the impact it had on the town.
• Meet the workers from the past and find out how they lived and worked
• Explore the locos and see how they were made
• Find out what else was made at Crewe Works
• Discover the importance of the Works to Crewe - one of Britain's key industrial engineering towns
